SikaSwell A is a hydrophilic swelling waterstop used to seal construction joints in concrete structures. It expands when exposed to water, achieving up to about 200 % swelling in 14 days in de‑mineralised water and generating a swelling pressure of up to 16 bar after three days in tap water. The product can be applied on dry or merely damp substrates within a service temperature range of 0 °C to +50 °C.
